Squirt B2 Brings Home Fall Festival Banner

The Squirt B 2002 birth-year team went undefeated in winning their Fall Festival division at The Rinks in Anaheim. In the tournament opener, Pasadena eked out a 3-2 win over the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes on a goal by defenseman Ryder Kunin with 13 seconds remaining in regulation. Buoyed by the last-minute heroics, the team then rolled over the San Diego Saints (6-1) and LA Hockey 2 (13-1) on the way to the final. In that game, the Leafs built a 4-1 lead before the Bakersfield Dragons — who also entered the game undefeated — closed within a goal. With a pair of markers, Leafs forward Luke Rodriguez was named MVP of the championship game. Overall, the Leafs led the tournament in Goals For (26), Goals Against (7) and fewest PIM (12). Congratulations to all our Squirts!
