The Pasadena Maple Leafs Hockey Club (PML) was established in 1964 and exists to create character, courage and citizenship through a youth ice hockey program and family friendly atmosphere. We endeavor to have our players master the skills of the game by acquiring the right physical, mental and social skills.

Pee Wee A Squad Captures OC Holiday Tourney

Your Pee Wee A squad posted a perfect 3-0 record in group play on the way to the elimination round of the third annual Thanksgiving Hockey Festival of Orange County. The boys in blue-and-white then handled the Desert Blaze in the semi-final and OCHC (Beaty) in the final, by identical 3-2 scores. Goaltender James Roberts was named a very deserving tournament MVP. Congratulations to all the champion Leafs Pee Wee A players and coaches!

Elsewhere... Your Bantam squad also played in the OC tournament, and competed well in all their games, including against a pair of tier teams, but came away winless. The Pee Wee B team didn't fare much better at the Simi Valley Turkey Carver Classic, although they did bring home a banner for winning the team shootout competition! At Toyota Sports Center, the Squirt B squad went 1-2-1, finishing 6th overall.

Win, lose or draw, Leafs coaches were unanimous in praising their players' effort and determination throughout their respective tournaments. Well done, Leafs!

50th Anniversary Gala and Alumni Game

Current members, alumni, coaches and kids came together on July 18th to celebrate our 50th anniversary at the Pasadena Sheraton, and had the pleasure of hearing Daryl Evans (LA Kings legend) and a host of other distinguished guests recount stories about hockey in SoCal, and the history of the Maple Leafs organization. A mere 16 or so hours later, kids and old men alike laced them up to celebrate the anniversary the most fitting way - on the ice! Were you there and wished you'd taken more pictures? Did you miss it, but don't want to totally miss out? Well, you're in luck! Our friend Mike Palmer from Just Picture That photography was on-hand to memorialize every moment, and now you can view/buy his photos online!

Just go to:

and use the password "mapleleafs" to unlock the gallery.

You can purchase photos directly from the site, and 20% of all sales goes directly back to the Gala fundraising fund!

Thanks to everyone who helped make this such a moving, poignant, and unbelievably FUN celebration of 50 incredible years of providing an unparalleled youth hockey experience to our community.
